Location was good

Our hotels in India have normally been quite good, this one stood out because of how bad it was. The staff do not and are corrupt. Water was not available for flushing the toilet or showering, when we questioned this we were told water was available from 5am to 7am. Hotel claims to have a restaurant which means the waiter heads down the road to get what ever you ordered from the various roadside vendors. When booking a long distance taxi, the hotel demanded a 500 Rupee booking fee.

The room was fine and the staff as helpful as they could be. No hot water for both mornings allegedly due to power cuts. The restaurant was in the basement of the old hotel behind, it was dark, dingy and dirty. Neither the food nor the surroundings were appetising

Only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to Taj Mahal.

No warm water in the shower and dirty towels. Staff did not speak well English. Hard to find the hotel because of different name in reality than on Booked.net (Tara Grand/ Tara Palace). The breakfast was poor. We did not get what we had ordered and dirty tablecloths in every table does not give an good impression.

Hotel staff are very welcoming. Room was clean. Hotel have a very good location.

No service such as wifi or diversified breakfast menu but it is ok.

Hotel is very well located near Taj Mahal. It is very clean and nicely decorated.

You can not regulate yourself when to have hot water.

The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. The hotel is right between the ticket counter and the East Gate of the Taj (about 10 minutes' walk in total), so if you plan to spend most of your time in Agra at the Taj, the location is excellent. Although the main part of Agra lies to the West, there are plenty of restaurants and facilities within a few minutes' walk.

The restaurant is next door and lacks a little in cleanliness. There was no hot water. Unfortunately, the English level of the staff was also poor enough that we had trouble communicating about basic things (food, taxis, hot water).

Cable TV was good and there were lots of channels.

We choose this hotel because it's close location to Taj Mahal and because there were supposed to be Wi-Fi. Taxi driver had hard time finding the right place and it was "middle of nowhere". More dissapointing was that in the evening when we arrived we were told that internet isn't working at the moment but will be ok next morning. Next morning I started with a shower and noticed that there were no hot water at all, neither there were any internet connection. When I spoke to the manager he admitted that since the hotel is so new, they did not have yet hot water at all and Wi-Fi meant the internet cafe cross the road... And even the hotel is new the meaning for 'new' in India is a bit different than in the Western countries.

Very close to the Taj Mahal. It is less than a mile from all shops, ticket counter and the monument.

You cannot order any tandor items since you cannot have smoke near the monument. you can eat elsewhere but do not order food in the room.

Location is great, hotel is good. A sign with the name of the hotel would help finding the hotel....

Breakfast is only available in hotel next door - Palace Grand Agra... which is served in a very old, ugly and fly rich room.

Location just 500m from gate to Taj Mahal, easy acces for sunrise in Taj Mahal.

Poor breakfast serving in some dirty dining room. Staff not focused for service at all. Just basic hotel close to Taj Mahal gate. Good value for money at this location and quiet OK rooms but breakfast and service disaster
